ORGANIZERS

Entrepreneurship Center

HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC), established in 1999 initially as Entrepreneurship Program, is a center to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the campus. It runs activities and funds to foster an entrepreneurial campus and cultivate a risk-taking value-creation mindset. Through direct engagement with the HKUST students, alumni, professors and support staff, we strive to nurture next-generation entrepreneurs whose companies make commercial, social or cultural impacts for the economic and social development of Hong Kong and other regions.

The BASE Entrepreneurship Ambassadors

The student-run BASE Entrepreneurship Ambassador team actively supports the Entrepreneurship Center in promoting entrepreneurship activities to students at HKUST. Its main supporting role is to create a self-sustaining entrepreneurial eco-system at the university, and to stimulate technological innovation and knowledge transfer.

The team also helps run the on-campus idea incubator and co-working space The BASE, out of which several HKUST startups are based and entrepreneurship events are regularly held.
